Financial statements of AGMAR MARINE

Agmar marine was founded in Leros in 1989. The passion of the founder for yachting has helped to make Leros Island a more attractive and popular destination for Sailing yachts Motor yachts & Mega yachts. Since then Leros has evolved into a crossing point between West, North, South Aegean and the Minor Asia - Turkish coast. 

Today, Agmar marine provides a full range of services including and not limited to mechanical, electrical, rigging, marine paint and finishing works with well qualified and experienced staff on site. 

The company currently operates Lakki Marina on a sea and shore side area of 10,000 M2. in Lakki town, next to the main harbour of Leros with 45 berths for vessels up to 36 meters long.  Our boatyard of 340 vessels is located in the South end of Partheni bay which is at the North side of the island, just 10 N.M from Lakki Marina.  

Looking optimistically to the future, ready to invest even more in our yachting passion and expand the business much further with more facilities, services, technicians, and employees. Already in motion is the addition of about 90 berths in Lakki Marina and an expansion 16000m2 of our Dry Dock area.

The Leros Boatyard is located in the natural bay of Partheni. The Dry Dock area and facilities covers 40,000 m2 and accommodates about 340 Yachts. It is equipped with a 70-ton travel lift, a self-powered 40-ton hydraulic trolley, a 55-ton and a 2-ton telescopic crane, to facilitate the maneuvering of vessels, equipment, engines, masts etc. Apart from power washing and other primary services, the boatyard offers a full range of workshops, facilities and services. We provide professional maintenance, repairs, refits, renovations and constructions, concerning the vessels and all their equipment. Our workshop facilities amongst others provide with mechanics – electrics – electronics – refrigeration – rigging – sail repairs – machinery – stainless steel, aluminum and steel work – composites and coatings – paints – shipwrights – carpentry – upholstery etc.  

A diver is available for underwater repairs, hull cleaning, inspection etc. 

Facilities & other services

Various services are available in the 2600 m2 of buildings and facilities, some of which are showers, WC, laundry and dry cleaning. Special areas for cleaning and drying sails, storage areas, workshops and a painting hall for boats are onsite.  

A marine chandlery of 400 m2, the largest in Leros & the Dodecanese Islands, is also located here, fully equipped, and providing great support for the maintenance and repair needs of your vessel.

The Boatyard's reception office is located in the administration building. We will assist and provide you with all necessary information regarding the formalities and tend to your requirements.

Electricity and water is available to the hard standing vessels. Please contact the reception for information regarding power/water fees and leasing of plugs, adaptors, extension cables, hoses etc.

Facilities are available for the disposal of used engine oil, old batteries and biological wastes. Please request information and instructions at the reception desk.

Rubbish disposal containers are conveniently distributed throughout the boatyard area.

Wi–Fi system is free of charge; please request information from the reception desk.

Weather reports (daily) and other important information is displayed on the information board outside the reception office.

SERVICE IS OUR BUSINESS

A fully equipped upholstery workshop provides any design for all internal and external upholstery.

All materials – fabrics, fittings and fasteners are available in our chandlery.

The Marina is positioned in the unique natural harbour of Lakki, on the port side of the bay, just beyond the main port in the town of Lakki.

In 1912 Italian forces occupied the Dodecanese, and selected Leros and especially the Lakki and Partheni natural bay as an ideal location to base their naval stations, which were the largest in the eastern part of the Mediterranean until 1943, the remains of which have survived in the region. Boats arriving at Lakki Marina can now enjoy the beauties of the sea and the environment of the Island of Leros and surrounding areas. Visitors can partake in a variety of activities such as, water sports, mountain climbing, diving, hiking, cycling, fishing etc. also you can relive the history of Leros through the centuries visiting the various museums and archeological sites or even just walking the streets of Leros as every corner has its own history.

Lakki Marina, is well organized, and has been operating since 1993, offering many facilities, showers, toilets, laundry & dryer services, and also other services upon request, (please contact our customer care department expressing your queries).

Lakki Marina's capacity is currently approximately 45 vessels, with permanent quay side locations, which can accommodate boats up to 36 meters and with a minimum draft of 5 meters.

The berths are equipped with electrical power outlets of 220V-16A/32A/63A & 380V-63A as well as tap water, while permanent laid mooring lines guarantee the safety of the vessels moored.

After your arrival, the check in is necessary at the reception office of the Marina. We will be happy to provide you with all details and information concerning your stay.

Helpful, professional personnel is available to assist you to moor, provide electricity, water, fuel and any other requirements you may have.

Wireless internet access is available free of charge and fully operational.

You may take your coffee, drinks or snacks in the marina's café or either in the town of Lakki which is just a few steps away from the Marina. There you will find restaurants, provision stores, supermarkets, and many other shops. You will also find our Chandlery close to the marina fully stocked with many items, spare parts and supplies, marina's personnel will assist and provide you with information for its location.

For your entertainment, there is a modern cinema, several café bars and a music hall all close to the Marina.

Leros has a history dating back to 3000 BC. There are several museums and historical sites to visit during your stay. Many historical events took place throughout the centuries up until the end of World War II. For further information please contact Marina's reception.

The Mechanics dept. provides all services from simple maintenance to complete overhaul of major brands, special fittings and modifications for engines up to 800hp. Routine servicing for engines up to 2000hp. For larger units a direct cooperation has been established with the local agents in Greece.
